Unlike Ranni the Witch and Fia, the Deathbed Companion, Sellen’s questline won’t unlock a special ending in Elden Ring. However, it will award players with new Armor sets and some Spells. Getting hold of these rewards won’t be easy though, as both the sets and Spells are scattered across the Lands Between.

How To Start Sorceress Sellen Quest In Elden Ring
To start Sellen’s quest, players should travel to Waypoint Ruins in western Limgrave. There are a lot of poisonous enemies guarding the ruins entrance. After killing them all, players should use the stairs to go down and beat the Mad Pumpkin Head. They’ll then be able to light the Site of Lost Grace and open the closed door to be greeted by Sorceress Sellen.
Sellen will first introduce herself as the Graven Witch. Then, she’ll ask if players wish to become her apprentice. It’s crucial to accept for Sellen’s quest to be triggered. The Sorcerer class will benefit from this more than most, as she’ll teach them new Spells each time they give her a scroll.
Where To Find Primeval Sorcerer Azur In Elden Ring
Sorcerer Azur is north of the Hermit Village in Mt. Gelmir. Tarnished will have to get the map fragment for better navigation. Primeval Sorcerer Azur used to be Sellen’s tutor and will need to be found in order to continue with her quest.
The old mage can be found just north of the Hermit Village in Mt. Gelmir. To reach it, Tarnished must circle the volcano.
Go to the Seethewater River Site of Lost Grace west of Wyndham Ruins. Go south into the watery swamp until players reach Craftsman’s Shack. Find the Hermit Village east of the shack, up the hills. Go north to find Sorcerer Azur.
In the far north of the village, players can spot Primeval Sorcerer Azur sitting behind giant rocks. Also, a bonfire with his name is right in front of him. He won’t speak upon interacting with him, but, after a while, will give Tarnished the Comet Azur Spell. It requires 60 Intelligence and needs three spell slots to be equipped.
After obtaining the spell, players should go back to Waypoint Ruins and speak with Sellen. If they exhaust her dialogue, she’ll eventually ask them to find Master Lusat who’s been exiled and locked away. Sellen then gives Tarnished the Sellian Sealbreaker key.
Where To Find Master Lusat In Elden Ring
Master Lusat is inside the Sellia Hideaway cave in northeast Caelid. To find the sorcerer, players should head to the Church of the Plague southeast of Caelid and travel from there.
If they keep going north for long enough, players will eventually reach a graveyard. Behind the large monument in the middle, is the entrance to the Sellia Hideaway. It’s an illusionary wall, so players will need to hit it before they can go inside.
Before the Boss room, there’s a Statue of Marika. Tarnished must drop down from the crystal that has a snail (before the statue) to reach a sealed room. They’ll then have to use the key Sellen gave them to get inside and find Master Lusat. The Sorcerer will give Tarnished the Stars Of Ruin Spell, after which, they should report back to Sorceress Sellen.

Sorceress Sellen’s Second Location In Elden Ring
After defeating Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring, players should talk to Sellen in Waypoint Ruins. She’ll reveal that her actual body is in Witchbane Ruins, west of Weeping Peninsula. Players can find the location south of the Fourth Church of Marika. Upon entering the ruins, they’ll find Sellen shackled. She’ll ask them to take Sellen’s Primal Glintstone, which is her life essence, and give it to another body.
Once they’ve received the Glintstone, Tarnished will need to travel to the Three Sister in the far north of Liurnia of the Lakes. There are ruins between Renna’s and Ranni’s Rise in Elden Ring. They should teleport to the latter and then go north. Upon reaching the ruins, all they’ll need to do to reveal the hidden entrance is roll on the ground.
Inside, there’s a glowing note that was left by Seluvis. Next to it is a hidden wall that’ll reveal Sorceress Sellen. Players should give her Sellen’s Primal Glintstone to finally free her.
Now, Tarnished must travel to Witchbane Ruins to speak with Witch Hunter Jerren. If he’s not there, they may need to go to Redmane Castle and exhaust his dialogue there before coming back to the ruins.
How To Complete Sorceress Sellen Quest In Elden Ring
The final step is to travel to the Grand Library in Raya Lucaria Academy. This location is Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon boss room in Elden Ring. From here, Tarnished must go outside to where the lift is and find two summon signs: gold and red. Each one has different outcomes, so they’ll need to choose wisely.
Gold: Summon Sellen to defeat Witch Hunter Jerren Red: Summon Witch Hunter Jerren to beat Sellen

If Tarnished choose the red summon and help Jerren kill Sellen, they’ll receive:
Witch’s Glintstone Crown Sellen’s Bell Bearing: Give it to the Twin Husk Maidens in Roundtable Hold to buy Sellen’s Spells Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone: Upgrade Material used to refine weapons to level +25
Meanwhile, choosing gold will lead to the following outcome:
Obtain the Eccentric Armor Set after defeating Jerren, the Witch Hunter Sellen will be standing in the library in Rennala’s place. Exhaust her dialogue to receive the Glintstone Kris Sellen will add the Shard Spiral Spell to her shop
After exhausting Sellen’s dialogue inside the Grand Academy, players should reload the area and Rennala will take her place back. From there, players can explore these places to find the following items:
Witch’s Glintstone Crown: Sellen’s headset that can be found in the Grand Library left of where Rennala is sitting. It increases Intelligence and Arcana by three Azur’s Glintstone and Lusat Armor Set from Azur’s and Lusat’s original location respectively
