The Third Church of Marika is located in Limgrave, so it is easy to access early in the game. There are two enemies, three items, and a chance to talk with Melina. One of the items, a Sacred Tear, is a must-have since it can upgrade the potency of a Sacred Flask. There is also a useful Sending Gate hidden behind the church. Here’s how to find this location in Elden Ring.

How To Get To The Third Church Of Marika
Within Limgrave, the Third Church of Marika is specifically in Mistwood. It is north of the Mistwood Minor Erdtree and woods. It is also east of where Kenneth Height is first found. The church is not off the beaten path, so players that stick to the roads in Limgrave will eventually pass it.
It is recommended to approach the church form the east side to meet Kenneth Height. Also, the east side has fewer enemies than the woods to the south. However, there are minor enemies around the church such as wolves and eagles.
What There Is To Find
The first stop should be the Site of Grace. While resting there, Melina can be spoken to, and she will share some information about Marika. In front of the Marika statue, there is a Sacred Tear which can be used to upgrade a Sacred Flask’s potency (these are always found in the altars of Elden Ring’s various churches).
Also lying on the grand near the altar, there will be a Flask of Wondrous Physick. Lastly, there will also be a Crimson Crystal Tear that can be picked up. However, the most interesting thing of all is actually behind the church.
Hidden in the bushes behind the church is a Sending Gate. Using it will teleport the Tarnished to the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid. There, they can meet Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman and begin his quest to collect Deathroot for various rewards. This is the easiest way to get to Gurranq and Caelid early on in the game. The quest for Deathroot can begin at this location even if players have not yet spoken to D, Hunter of the Dead.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
