One of the most impactful, though short-lived, consumables in Elden Ring is Exalted Flesh. For 30 seconds after consuming Exalted Flesh, players will receive a 20% physical damage boost. This can be huge at a critical moment in a boss fight, allowing players to maximize their openings. The buff also stacks multiplicatively, meaning that other damage bonuses will increase it in turn.

Where to Find Exalted Flesh in Elden Ring

Although it is possible to loot Exalted Flesh in Elden Ring’s Lands Between, it isn’t a sustainable method of acquiring the consumable. Instead, most players will want to craft as much Exalted Flesh as they need.

To get started crafting, players will first have to buy the Armorer’s Cookbook (3) from the Nomadic Merchant in East Limgrave, just to the south of the Mistwood Minor Erdtree. This will unlock the following recipe for Exalted Flesh:

5 x Rowa Fruit 1 x Lump of Flesh 1 x Hefty Beast Bone 1 x Arteria Leaf

This shopping list isn’t the easiest to acquire, and players will need to hunt and forage in the Lands Between to collect all the ingredients.

How to Farm Exalted Flesh in Elden Ring

Of the four ingredients in Exalted Flesh, Rowa Fruit is the simplest to acquire, and players can find the easily-recognizable glowing red berry bushes all across the Lands Between.

Arteria Leaf is harder to find, particularly as it doesn’t respawn like other plants. The only places to acquire large amounts of Arteria Leaf are from the Isolated Merchant on the Weeping Peninsula, who has five to sell, or from killing Snow Trolls in Mountaintops of the Giants, which each have a 30% chance to drop one.

The final two ingredients will most likely be acquired together, as they are a shared drop from Boars, Bears, and Lesser Runebears. Mistwood Forest is a great place to farm these ingredients, as there are many Bears and Runebears for players to hunt.

Although Runebears have a slightly better chance of dropping Lumps of Flesh and Hefty Beast Bones, they’re also a much more challenging fight, meaning players should stick to hunting regular Bears as much as possible.
